فَرُبَّما نَفَعَ التَعليلُ بِالكَذِبِ
Promise me harm, and I will not reproach you for breaking your word.
Promise me good tidings, and do not vex me with denial,
For sometimes consolation through lies proves helpful.
For at times lying brings some benefit.

Who will bring me the dweller of shells in deep waters,
Who will provide me with the tranquility of seashells
whose diver swims in the depths of mortal peril?
Whose diver floats in the deep sea of desire?
