Oh, how lovely a lemon is,
O beloved lemon,
Bringing delight to the soul!
That brings joy to the soul,
كَأَنَّهاas though it were كافورَةٌa piece of camphor
كَأَنَّها كافورَةٌ
لَهاit has غِشاءٌa covering مِنof ذَهَبgold
لَها غِشاءٌ مِن ذَهَب
As though it were a piece of camphor
As if it were camphor
With a covering of gold.
Wrapped in a golden veil.
