It is as though the souls of lovers are journeying
As though the souls of those who love
Toward your beauty, at a canter and a trot,
Journey towards your beauty, drawn ever closer,
تَؤُمُّheads toward كَعبَةَa Kaaba حُسنٍbeauty خالُهاits mole حَجَرٌa stone

Seeking a Kaaba of beauty whose mole is a stone—
Flocking to a shrine of loveliness, its stone
Upon the cheek, its black set amid dazzling white.
A mole on a cheek where blackness shows in whiteness.
