Hind disapproved of my gray hair and turned away,
With tears swirling within her cloak.
فَاِعذُريso pardon ياO هِندُHind شَيبيmy gray hair بِهَمّيbecause of my grief
إِنَّindeed شَيبَgray hair الرَأسِof the head نورُthe blossom of الهُمومُsorrows
So pardon my gray hair, O Hind, because of my grief;
Indeed, the head’s gray hair is the blossom of sorrows.
