Do you not see the swaying narcissus glancing at us,

With the glances of one joyful, delighted by reproach?

As though its eyes, in the beauty of their form,

Were oil vessels of gold amid petals of camphor.

As though the fine dew on it, to one who beholds it,

Were tears that welled from the eyelids of one forsaken.
