I spent the night in distress, tasting no sleep,
kept awake, one part of me striking another.

The gnats tore at me, biting my skin,
The mosquito has torn my skin with bites,
ravenously nipping as they swooped down,
rending it with its bite, swooping down,

They persist in provoking you until you are appeased.
It keeps provoking your anger until you are content.
