Who will buy my noble standing for the safety of obscurity?
Who will buy my worth with the safety of obscurity
Who will buy my learning for an ignoramus's good fortune?
Who will buy my manners with the luck of ignorance

Time has grown harsh, and its reversals have pained you.
The times have been bad and its circumstances pained you
And perhaps time will bring joy after a little while.
And perhaps the times will bring ease after a little while
