بَعيدٍ مِنَ العُتبي ضَنينٍ بِمَوعِدِ
And among this world's sorrows is your love for a miser,
And from the sorrow of this life, your love is for a stingy one
far from making amends, grudging a promise.
Far from reproach, mean with promise

He comes like the afternoon shade every evening,
He comes every night like plunder
and returns, giving nothing by word or hand.
And returns giving neither word nor hand
