Ah, many a cup whose choice wine was given me to drink
By one slender in his swaying, bright-mouthed, with cool, sweet teeth.

When his fingertips took on some of its crimson,
You saw silver gilded with wine.
كَأَنَّas though بِخَدَّيهِon his two cheeks الَّذيthat which جاءَhe came حامِلاًcarrying

As though on his cheeks lay what he came bearing
In his palms—some of its hues when it is blended.
