قَدalready قَرَّبَhas brought near اللَهُGod مِنّاto us كُلَّall ماthat which اِمتَنَعاwas beyond reach
قَد قَرَّبَ اللَهُ مِنّا كُلَّ ما اِمتَنَعا
كَأَنَّنيas though I بِهِلالِwith the crescent of العيدِEid قَدalready طَلَعاhas risen
كَأَنَّني بِهِلالِ العيدِ قَد طَلَعا
God has brought near to us all that was beyond reach.
God has brought us closer to all that was forbidden
It is as though I see the crescent of Eid already risen.
As if I see the crescent moon of Eid has risen
فَخُذso take لِفِطرِكَfor your fast-breaking قَبلَbefore العيدِEid أُهبَتَهُits preparations
فَخُذ لِفِطرِكَ قَبلَ العيدِ أُهبَتَهُ
فَإِنَّfor indeed شَهرَكَyour month فيamong الواواتِthe wāw letters قَدalready وَقَعاhas fallen
فَإِنَّ شَهرَكَ في الواواتِ قَد وَقَعا
So, before Eid, make preparations for breaking your fast.
So take for your breakfast before Eid its preparation
For your month has already fallen among the wāw letters.
For your month has fallen in the letter Waw
