They went astray, and a leader of misguidance led them.
They went astray, led by a leader of misguidance
He had indeed changed their religion utterly.
Who had changed their religion, altered completely
ماnot زالَceased يَحمِلُhe bears دائِباًtirelessly أَوزارَهُمtheir burdens of sin
حَتّىuntil أَتَيتَyou arrived بِرَأسِهِwith his head مَحمولاbeing carried
He kept tirelessly bearing their burdens of sin,
He continued always to bear their burdens
Until you arrived with his head being carried.
Until you came with his head carried
فَلِيَهنِكَso may it bring you joy الظَفَرُthe victory الَّذيwhich أوتَيتَهُyou were granted it
وَتَرَدَّدَand drew back الأَعداءُthe enemies عَنكَfrom you نُكولاin retreat
So may the victory you were granted bring you joy;
So let the victory you were granted delight you
And the enemies drew back from you in retreat.
As the enemies receded from you, withdrawing
