في ذمة الله محروسا مدى الأبد

أنىّ ترحلت أو خيمت في بلد

In God's care, guarded for all eternity,

wherever you journey or camp in a land.

عليك من ظل ستر الله واقية

تحاط فيها بعين الواحد الأحد

Over you lies a shield from the shade of God's covering;

within it you are guarded by the eye of the One, the Only One.

فسر مع الله في حفظ وفي دعة

فما وليّك غير الله من أحد

So journey with God, in safekeeping and in ease,

for no one but God is your guardian.

فاستقبل النصر والفتح الذي انفتحت

ابوابه لك والأسياف في الغمد

So welcome victory and conquest, which has opened

its gates to you while the swords remain in their sheaths.

سعادة أغلقت باب الحروب فما

أبقت لديك عدوا غير مضطهد

Good fortune has shut the gate of wars, and has not

left you any enemy who is not subdued.

تهتم بالأمر لا يرجى فتدركه

بهمة لم تزل تدعي إلى الرشد

You concern yourself with a matter deemed hopeless, then accomplish it,

with resolve ever summoned to right guidance.

سباية صادفت رأى امرىء يقظ

موفق بسبيل الحق معتمد

A capture that met the counsel of a vigilant man,

granted success, relying on the path of truth.

هذي البشائر والأفراح مقبلة

إلى فنائك تسعى سعى مجتهد

These glad tidings and joys are approaching

your courtyard, hastening as one who strives diligently.

في كل يوم بشارات تسر بها

النفس والمال والأهلين والولد

Each day brings glad tidings that gladden

the soul, wealth, family, and children.

أعيد سربك مما يستعاذ به

فقل هو الله لم يولد ولم يلد

I invoke protection for your flock with that by which refuge is sought;

so say: He is God; He was not born, nor did He beget.
