ياO حسنbeauty of سجادةprayer rug المصلّىthe worshipper
يا حسن سجادة المصلّى
وهوwhile he يناجيcommunes intimately with ذاكthat الجناباexalted Presence
وهو يناجي ذاك الجنابا
How lovely the worshipper’s prayer rug,
as he communes with that exalted Presence,
مقترناcoupled بالسجودwith prostration منهto Him
مقترنا بالسجود منه
عندduring مناجاتهhis intimate prayer اقتراباnearness
عند مناجاته اقترابا
coupling prostration before Him
with nearness in his intimate prayer.
صيرهاhe made it دونهbefore Him حجاباa veil
صيرها دونه حجابا
رجاءin hope انthat يسمعhe might hear الجواباthe reply
رجاء ان يسمع الجوابا
He made it a veil before Him,
hoping to hear the reply.
