ولقدand indeed أنستI found comfort بسبحةin a rosary أمثالهاothers like it
ولقد أنست بسبحة أمثالها
أنسٌa comfort لكلto every مسبّحone who glorifies God وممجدand one who extols God
أنسٌ لكل مسبّح وممجد
And indeed I found comfort in a rosary, the likes of which
I have forgotten, with rosaries like it,
Are a comfort to everyone who glorifies and extols God.
Forgetfulness for all who glorify and praise,
نظمتwas strung ملّونةmulticolored وشرفand was exalted قدرهاits worth
نظمت ملّونة وشرف قدرها
فجعلتهاso I made it ذخراa treasure وعقداand a bracelet لليدfor the hand
فجعلتها ذخرا وعقدا لليد
It was strung in varied colors, and its worth was exalted;
I composed it colorfully and its honor was great,
So I made it a treasure and a bracelet for the hand.
So I made it a treasure and necklace for the hand.
