لي وكهفي ومقيلي
You are a refuge at the Gathering
You are my refuge on the Day of Resurrection
for me, my cave and my noonday resting place.
And my cave and resting place
لاnot أرىI see ليfor me غيرother than حبيكمmy love for you (plural)
لا أرى لي غير حبيكم
عتاداًprovision لرحيليfor my departure
عتاداً لرحيلي
I see nothing for myself but my love for you
I see none but your love
as provision for my departure,
As equipment for my departure
وملإذاand a refuge يومthe day when لاnot يغنيavails
وملإذا يوم لا يغني
خليلa close friend عنon behalf of خليلa close friend

and as a refuge on the day when no help comes
And why wouldn't a day come where
from one friend to another,
A friend cannot avail a friend
وشفيعاand an intercessor غيركمother than you (plural)
وشفيعا غيركم
ياO آلfamily of طهTaha والبتولand al-Batul (the chaste one)
يا آل طه والبتول
nor any intercessor other than you,
And intercessors other than you
O family of Taha and al-Batul!

O cupbearers at the Pool on
O Givers of drink at the Cistern
