To those who are undeserving of its gifts
يحرمdeprives الحرthe free man منof مناهhis wishes ويعطيand gives
يحرم الحر من مناه ويعطي
نعمةblessing اللهGod للعبيدto the slaves السودblack
نعمة الله للعبيد السود
It deprives the free man of his wishes and gives
It deprives the free man of fortune's grace
God's blessing to black slaves.
Yet grants blessings to the lowly slaves
