الى طلا ثغره وكاسه
And a young gazelle—within me is an agonizing thirst
Thirsting, yearning, I roamed about,
For the wine of his lips and his cup.
Seeking his radiant smile and cup.

من نظر فيه بين ناسه
I cannot restrain my gaze, if he appears to me,
I cannot gaze upon his face,
From looking at him among his people.
Among the crowd my eyes look up.

اصبحت في الحب من حواسه
As though I—while he is one of my senses—
It's as if he were one of my senses,
Have become, in love, one of his senses.
In love, my senses come from him.
