I am weary of time only for the sake of
of a noble man in it, and the good fortune of a base man.
A generous one in it and an unlucky lot
وتراءىand appeared اللئيمthe base man أقبحmore hideous فيin العيthe two eyes (word beginning)
وتراءى اللئيم أقبح في العي
نينcompletion of “the two eyes” مرأىa sight منthan افتقارthe poverty of الكريمthe noble man
نين مرأى من افتقار الكريم
And the base man appeared to the eyes a more hideous
And the unlucky one seems uglier in the eyes
sight than the noble man's poverty.
