لا تحسب الأرزاق تقسم باطلا

كلا لقد ساوى المهيمن بينها

كلا لقد ساوى المهيمن بينها

Do not think that provisions are allotted in vain.

Do not think sustenance is shared unjustly -

Not so: the Guardian has indeed made them equal.

No! The Almighty has made it equal for all.

فإذا رزقت الجهل أدركت المنى

فإذا رزقت الجهل أدركت المنى

وإذا حرمت الجد أعطيت النهى

وإذا حرمت الجد أعطيت النهى

So if you are granted ignorance, you attain your wishes.

If you are granted ignorance, you'll gain what you wish,

And if you are denied good fortune, you are given understanding.

And if you're deprived of effort, you'll be denied.
