And your nobility draws in wonders,

and makes their absent ones present.

So how strange that my heart has remained a believer

in the law of a love that has remained an unbeliever in union.

so why did they class pronouns among definite nouns?

it brings forth outcomes according to deeds.

And I have kept inquiring into the essence of beauty,

yet found no meaning bewitching except your beauty.

and whoever understands the half-verses unravels the circles.

they would not have unfolded from them Basit and Wafir.

And were it not for Abu Yahya, Muhammad ibn Ma'n,

the days would not have been treasures to me.

consists of marvels that have inspired these marvels in me.

in throngs, as pilgrims come to the sacred sites.

So visit Mecca, whatever sins you have committed,

and visit his horizon, whatever privations you have lamented.

The ages are enraptured at the sight of him, awed by his majesty,

and their earliest envy their latest for having him.
