سأدركُ ما أمّلتُه من مآربي

سأدركُ ما أمّلتُه من مآربي

وأَظفرُ ممّا رمُتهُ بمَطالبي

I shall attain the aims I have hoped for.

I will attain what I have hoped for

And succeed in my aims among the things I have sought.

And gain what I have sought after

وأسعى إلى أبوابه غير خَائف

وأسعى إلى أبوابه غير خَائف

وأرجعُ من معروفه غيرَ خائب

وأرجعُ من معروفه غيرَ خائب

And make my way to his doors unafraid.

I will hasten to its gates, fearless

And return from his bounty without disappointment.

And return from its bounty, not disappointed

وأنظِم في أيامه غيرَ نادم

وأنظِم في أيامه غيرَ نادم

وأخبرُ عن إنعامه غيرَ كاذب

وأخبرُ عن إنعامه غيرَ كاذب

And compose verse in his days without regret.

In its days I will live without regret

And tell of his generosity without lying.

And tell of its favors, speaking no falsehood
