  1. قل للوزير ولا تفزعكَ هيبتُهُ

    وإن تعاظمَ واستولى لمنصبهِ

    Tell the vizier—and do not let his imposing presence frighten you—

    even if he grows haughty and domineers because of his office:

  2. لولا ابنةُ الشيخِ ما استوزرتَ ثانيةً

    فاشكر حِراً صِرتَ مولانا الوزير بَهِ

    Were it not for the sheikh’s daughter, you would not have been appointed vizier a second time;

    so thank the cunt through which you became our lord the vizier.
