أبو المعالي تاجُ الأئمّه

أعلى الورى قيمةً وهمَّه

أعلى الورى قيمةً وهمَّه

Abu al-Ma‘ali, crown of the imams,

Abu Al-Ma'ali, crown of imams

Highest among mortals in worth and aspiration.

Highest of creation in value and care

همّتُه في العُلا فتاةٌ

همّتُه في العُلا فتاةٌ

وهمّةُ العالمين همَّه

وهمّةُ العالمين همَّه

His aspiration in seeking eminence is a young maiden,

His ambition soars high

While the aspiration of all mankind is an aged woman.

While the ambition of all peoples is his care

ولي على جودهِ ضمانٌ

ولي على جودهِ ضمانٌ

وهو أصحُّ الأنامِ ذمّه

وهو أصحُّ الأنامِ ذمّه

And I have a guarantee of his generosity,

I vouch for his generosity

And he is the most faithful of mortals to his word.

And he is the most flawless of people in reputation
