ثَراؤكَ فَقرٌّ والغِنَى مَدحُ مَن هَدَى

ثَراؤكَ فَقرٌّ والغِنَى مَدحُ مَن هَدَى

وساد بني سام وحام ويافثِ

وساد بني سام وحام ويافثِ

Your wealth is poverty; true wealth is praising him who guided,

Your wealth is poverty, and praise be to the one who guides

And was lord over the sons of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

And settled the tribes of Shem, Ham and Japheth

ثِمارُ المُنَى تُجنَى بجاهِ محمدٍ

ثِمارُ المُنَى تُجنَى بجاهِ محمدٍ

إذا أُعضِلَت يوماً دواهي الحوادثِ

إذا أُعضِلَت يوماً دواهي الحوادثِ

The fruits of hope are gathered through Muhammad's standing,

The fruits of death are harvested by the grace of Muhammad

When calamitous events one day become intractable.

When the dark days of tribulations overwhelm

ثَناءٌ كما هَبَّ النسيمُ غُدَيَّةً

ثَناءٌ كما هَبَّ النسيمُ غُدَيَّةً

فَجرَّرَ ذيلاً بالرياضِ الدمائِثِ

فَجرَّرَ ذيلاً بالرياضِ الدمائِثِ

Praise like the breeze that blew in the early morning,

Praise flows gently like the morning breeze

Then trailed its hem through the soft-soiled gardens.

That sweeps softly through gardens of splendor

ثَواقِبُ آياتٍ له أعجزَ الوَرَى

ثَواقِبُ آياتٍ له أعجزَ الوَرَى

بها كاحتجابٍ عَن عَدُوٍّ مباحثِ

بها كاحتجابٍ عَن عَدُوٍّ مباحثِ

His are radiant signs; he confounded humankind

Marvels of his signs that perplexed all of creation

Through them—as in his concealment from a searching foe.

With which he contests any adversarial disputant

ثوابِيَ مضمونٌ بشرطِ اتِّباعِهِ

ثوابِيَ مضمونٌ بشرطِ اتِّباعِهِ

على الملكِ الأعلَى مميتي وباعثِي

على الملكِ الأعلَى مميتي وباعثِي

My reward is guaranteed, on condition that I follow him,

My rewards are assured by following him

By the Most High King, who causes my death and resurrects me.

By the supreme King who takes and gives life to me
