إهنأ بإدراكِ المُنَى والوطَرِ
وَقُرَّand be gladdened عيناًin the eye باقتِبَالِby welcoming البِشَرِjoy
وَقُرَّ عيناً باقتِبَالِ البِشَرِ
Rejoice in attaining your wishes and desire,
I congratulate you on attaining your wish and desire
and let your eye be gladdened as you welcome joy.
And delight your eyes by receiving good news.
وانعمand delight بأملاككin your marriage مستقبلاًwelcoming
وانعم بأملاكك مستقبلاً
وجوهfaces سعدgood fortune سافراتunveiled الغُررِradiant foreheads
وجوه سعد سافرات الغُررِ
And delight in your marriage, welcoming
Enjoy your future possessions
the faces of good fortune, their radiant brows unveiled.
And the beautiful, radiant faces.
ونلand gain منfrom الدنياthis world النصيبَthe portion الذيthat
ونل من الدنيا النصيبَ الذي
حُبِّبَwas made dear لِلمُختَارِto the Chosen One خَيرَthe best البَشَرِhumankind
حُبِّبَ لِلمُختَارِ خَيرَ البَشَرِ
And gain from this world the portion that
And obtain from this life the share
was made dear to the Chosen One, the best of humankind,
That was made beloved for the best of mankind.
وعصمةand protection from sin وافيةcomplete أوجبتhas brought about
وعصمة وافية أوجبت
طهارةَpurity الثَّوبِthe garment وحُسنِand goodness الأثَرِthe lasting trace
طهارةَ الثَّوبِ وحُسنِ الأثَرِ
and complete protection that has brought about
And complete loyalty that made obligatory
purity of garment and a good legacy.
The purity of garment and goodness of effect.
ومبصراًand clear-sighted مستبصراًdiscerning نابذاًcasting aside
ومبصراً مستبصراً نابذاً
دارthe abode الغرورdelusion ومقامand the dwelling-place الغُرَرِperil
دار الغرور ومقام الغُرَرِ
And be clear-sighted and discerning, casting aside
And with insight and discernment, rejecting
the abode of delusion and the dwelling-place of peril.

فخيرfor the best دنياworldly life المرءthe person حظاًas a share لهfor him
فخير دنيا المرء حظاً له
ماحصَّنَwhat safeguards الدينَthe faith وغَضَّand lowers البَصَرِthe gaze
ماحصَّنَ الدينَ وغَضَّ البَصَرِ
For a man's best portion of worldly life
For the best of one's life is their fortune
is what safeguards his faith and lowers his gaze.
That fortified faith and lowered the gaze.
فَإنَّfor indeed حُبِّيmy love فيكfor you ياO سيديmy lord
فَإنَّ حُبِّي فيك يا سيدي
مجدَّدrenewed الحُكمِthe decree صَحِيحُtrue الخَبَرِthe report
مجدَّد الحُكمِ صَحِيحُ الخَبَرِ
For indeed my love for you, O my lord,
For my love in you, my master
is renewed in its decree and true in its declaration.
Is endless rule, truthful in news.
