يا إلهي وملجئي ومجيري ومؤملي

قد توجهت ضارعاً لك فارحم تملمي

O my God, my refuge, my protector, and my hope,

My God, my refuge, my shelter, my hope,

I have turned to You in humble supplication; so have mercy on my distress.

I turn to You pleading, so have mercy and care for me.

وأجرني مما أعاني ويسّر توبتي

وأجرني مما أعاني ويسّر توبتي

بنبيّ الهدى توسلت فاقبَل توسّلي

بنبيّ الهدى توسلت فاقبَل توسّلي

And protect me from what I suffer, and ease my repentance.

Save me from what afflicts me, and make repentance easy.

Through the Prophet of guidance I have sought intercession; so accept my plea,

Through the Prophet of guidance I implore, so accept my plea,

بشفيع مشفع وحبيب مفضّل

بشفيع مشفع وحبيب مفضّل

وصلاة الإله تترى على خير مرسل

وصلاة الإله تترى على خير مرسل

Through an intercessor whose intercession is accepted, and a favored beloved.

Through the interceding intercessor, the chosen beloved,

And may God's blessings follow one another upon the best of messengers.

And may the prayer of God be upon the best Messenger.
