أما الجهادُ فأنتَ صَاحِبُ آيةٍ

فيهِ وحُكمٍ واجبٍ مفعولِ

As for jihad, you are the bearer of a sign

You are the holder of a verse

therein, and of a binding decree put into effect.

Regarding it, and an obligation to be fulfilled

جَرَّدتَ سيفَكَ ناصرَ الدينِ الذي

جَرَّدتَ سيفَكَ ناصرَ الدينِ الذي

أنتَ الحَقِيقُ به بِلا تَأوِيلِ

أنتَ الحَقِيقُ به بِلا تَأوِيلِ

You have unsheathed your sword, O Defender of the Faith—a title

You have unsheathed your sword, defender of the religion

you truly deserve, without need for interpretation.

You are its true essence, without interpretation
