And he is a lion when lofty spears clash,

He is a lion when competing for supremacies,

and he is rain when gifts are apportioned.

And rain when sharing benevolences.

من بني نصر الألى شيّدوا المج

من بني نصر الألى شيّدوا المج

د ببأس ماض وحلم ونائل

د ببأس ماض وحلم ونائل

Of the sons of Nasr, who built glory

Of the sons of Nasr the sublime, they built glory

with decisive might, forbearance, and bounty.

With ferocity past, and forbearance, and attainment.

يا إمام الهدى وربّ الأيادي

يا إمام الهدى وربّ الأيادي

وسمام العدا وقطب الفضائل

وسمام العدا وقطب الفضائل

O leader of guidance and lord of benefactions,

O Imam of guidance, and Lord of hands,

and poison to foes and the axis of virtues.

And summit of chivalry, and pole of virtues.
