ووصل هواه عن رضا الله حاجز
An increase in a man's gray hair is a decrease in his life.
The increase of a man's gray hairs diminishes his life
And his attachment to desire bars him from God's pleasure.
And his passionate love separates him from God's contentment
زكانكunclear as written; likely 'your time' (زمانك) منكوسturned upside down فخيركso your good مرجأdeferred
زكانك منكوس فخيرك مرجأ
إلىto غيرan unspecified ميقاتappointed time وشرّكwhile your evil ناجزpromptly accomplished
إلى غير ميقات وشرّك ناجز
Your time is turned upside down, so your good is deferred
If you have stumbled, your best course is to hope
To an unspecified time, while your evil is promptly done.
For an undetermined time, while your evil is predestined
زحمتyou have crowded بنيmy sons بالدنياin worldly affairs فخلso leave clear سبيلهمtheir path
زحمت بني بالدنيا فخل سبيلهم
فمالكso what ails you عنwith regard to طاعةobedience to اللهGod عاجزunable
فمالك عن طاعة الله عاجز
You have crowded my sons in worldly affairs; leave their path clear.
You busied your sons with worldly affairs, so leave them be
So why are you unable to obey God?
Why then, are you unable from obeying God, helpless
