أما العدوّ فمكبوت ومخذولُ
وحدّهand his blade’s edge حيثماwherever أمضاهhe wields it مفلولُblunted
وحدّه حيثما أمضاه مفلولُ
As for the foe, he is crushed and forsaken;
As for the enemy, he is humbled and forsaken.
his blade, wherever he wields it, is blunted.
And his blade’s edge is blunted wherever he wields it.
