حاطَsafeguarded العِبادَthe people حُسَامُكَyour sword المسلولُunsheathed
حاطَ العِبادَ حُسَامُكَ المسلولُ
وحَمَىand defended البِلادَthe land جِهَادُكَyour jihad (religious struggle) المقبُولaccepted
وحَمَى البِلادَ جِهَادُكَ المقبُول
Your unsheathed sword safeguarded the people.
The swords are sheathed, and the blessed peace holds sway
And your accepted jihad defended the land.
Through your striving, approved, guarding lands at bay
