فإن المنايا شرُّها متدارِك

For the evils of death follow close upon one another.

كسبتَ ذنوباً فامحها بامتداح من

You have amassed sins; so erase them by praising him

You have committed sins, so erase them by praising one

By whose radiant brow the dark calamities are dispelled.

Through whose grace calamities are made to disappear
