فراقso became pleasing منهof it الرواءoutward appearance والمخبرand inward nature
Time rejoiced after it saw clearly;
The age rejoiced after it gained insight,
So its outward appearance and inward nature grew pleasing.
Parting from it were satiety and the informant.

And the sky shed its dusky robe,
And the air stripped off its dark robe,
And the earth clothed itself in its green robe,
And the earth dressed in its green attire.

لماwhen بكىwept الغيثthe rain قبلbeforehand واستعبرand shed tears
And smiled, revealing its wondrous bloom,
And it smiled, displaying its beautiful blossoms,
When the rain had first wept and shed tears.
When the rain wept before and turned salty.

The clouds' pearls never poured down scattered
The scattered clouds did not cease
Without the garden setting about stringing what they scattered.
To adorn the garden with its dispersed pearls.

Nor did lightning unsheathe its blades within it
And lightning did not flash through it in vain;
Without drought's blood being shed with impunity among them.
Rather, it made the locus overflow with its blood.

But for lightning's agate as it traveled by night,
Were it not for the lightning's carnelian,
The garden would not have borne jewels.
The garden would not have produced gems.

Gardens—rather, they are like eyes,
Gardens that were as if they were orbits
Sleeping at times, and at others keeping vigil.
That at times slumber and at times stay awake.

When the east wind inclines toward them, it releases
When the morning breeze blows through them, it exudes
For the nose, strongly fragrant musk from their scented stains.
For the nose a musk whose intensity causes sneezing.

Seas of generosity, overflowing with munificence;
With oceans of generosity that overflow from bounty;
The lord of glory is al-Kawthar among them.
The possessor of majesty, between them is al-Kawthar.
