إِنَّindeed الأَرانِبَthe rabbits لَمdid not تَفتُكescape you لِأَنَّهاbecause they
إِنَّ الأَرانِبَ لَم تَفتُك لِأَنَّها
عَلِمَتknew بِأَنَّكَthat you مالِكٌmaster of آجالَهاtheir allotted lifespans
عَلِمَت بِأَنَّكَ مالِكٌ آجالَها
Indeed, the rabbits did not escape you, because they
Knew that you were master of their allotted lifespans.
وَلَعَلَّهاand perhaps they اِشتَهتِlonged for الحَياةَlife وَعاوَدَتand tried again
وَلَعَلَّها اِشتَهتِ الحَياةَ وَعاوَدَت
فَرأَتthen they found بِصَيدِكَthrough your hunting مَوتَهاtheir death أَشهىmore desirable لَهاto them
فَرأَت بِصَيدِكَ مَوتَها أَشهى لَها
And perhaps they longed for life and tried again,
Then found their death in your hunt sweeter to them.
