عَلَيَّ في الأَيّامِ مِن باسِ

عَلَيَّ في الأَيّامِ مِن باسِ

A people who erased my misery and did not leave

No misery upon me in the days

قُل لِبَني الدُنيا أَلا هَكَذا

قُل لِبَني الدُنيا أَلا هَكَذا

فَليَفعَلِ الناسُ مَعَ الناسِ

فَليَفعَلِ الناسُ مَعَ الناسِ

Say to the sons of this world: behold, in this way

Say to the world's sons - should it not be so?
