إنَّ الرِّياح إذا ما استعصَفَت قَصَفت

عيدان نجدٍ ولم يَعبأنَ بالرّتَمِ

عيدان نجدٍ ولم يَعبأنَ بالرّتَمِ

Indeed, when the winds blow fiercely, they snap

the boughs of Najd and pay no heed to the broom shrubs.
