Sol 6.1

  1. تضمن فوهُ دُرّا من ثنايا

    جلاه لنا بُدرٍ من كلامِ

    His mouth held pearls in the form of front teeth;

    He revealed them to us with pearls of speech.

  2. وشال عذاره من تحت صدغ

    فصار بصحن وجنته كلامِ

    And his sideburn rose from beneath a temple,

    Becoming like the letter lām upon his cheek.
