ل يغيظنا ما يفعلُ

صُلَف وتيه زائد

Arrogance and excessive conceit,

and swaggering and affectation.

غنَّى ثقيلا أوّلا

غنَّى ثقيلا أوّلا

وهو الثقيلُ الأول

وهو الثقيلُ الأول

He sang a 'first heavy' tune,

and he himself is the foremost bore.
