والعزُّ أولاكَ والتَّمكينُ أُخراكا
You set forth, with victory and aid as your two armies.
Victory and triumph are your armies,
And glory is your beginning, and secure dominion your end.
Honor is yours first, and empowerment is your end.

And God's mercy has been spread across the horizons.
God's mercy has spread across the horizons,
And the earth displays glad tidings of your advent.
And the earth shows signs heralding your rise.

It has donned robes of its blossoms' embroidery,
She has worn robes of flowering splendor,
As though its finery emulated you in beauty.
As if her beauty's adornment embroidered you.

You rose, rejoicing, between generosity and might:
You emerged amid dew and strife exultant—
This in your right hand—nay, this in your left.

Two opposites have been brought together in the grasp of your two hands.
Without them life would not be sweet, nor you sublime.
Without them both, life would not be sweet—nor without you.

God's victory advances before you, unsheathed,
With triumph shattering those on earth who spurned you.
With conquest, crushing whoever on earth has opposed you.

And the people pray, and hopes are eager.
Obedience seeks you, rebellion dreads you.
And obedience looks to you with hope, and rebellion fears you.

And at your right is a full moon with no orbit.
No celestial spheres can equal your moon's light.
And you will never see orbits for the full moons of earth.

He leads a thundering army toward the enemies,
Trampling the hills, their summits crushed and broken.
A vast host that leaves the hillocks flattened.
