ياO مَنwho يُجرِّدُunsheathes مِنfrom بَصيرتهِhis insight
يا مَن يُجرِّدُ مِن بَصيرتهِ
تحتَunder الحوادثِcalamities صارمَthe keen sword العَزْمِof resolve
تحتَ الحوادثِ صارمَ العَزْمِ
O you who unsheathe from your insight
O you who strip the insight from him
amid calamities, the keen sword of resolve.
Under the harsh events, firm of purpose
رُعتَyou terrified العدوَّthe enemy فَماand never مثُلتَyou appeared لهُto him
رُعتَ العدوَّ فَما مثُلتَ لهُ
إلاexcept that تفزَّعَhe took fright منكَat you فيin الحُلمِa dream
إلا تفزَّعَ منكَ في الحُلمِ
You terrified the enemy, and never did you appear to him
You scared the enemy, so you did not waver before him
without his taking fright at you in a dream.
Except he startled because of you in the dream
أضْحىhas become لكَfor you التَّدبيرُplanning مُطَّرداًconsistent
أضْحى لكَ التَّدبيرُ مُطَّرداً
مثلَlike اطَّرادِregularity الفعلِthe verb للاسمِto the noun
مثلَ اطَّرادِ الفعلِ للاسمِ
Your planning has become consistent,
Planning has become consistent for you
like the regular correspondence of verb to noun.
Like the consistency of the verb for the noun
رفعَraised الحسودُthe envious man إليكَtoward you ناظِرهُhis gaze
رفعَ الحسودُ إليكَ ناظِرهُ
فرآكَand he saw you مُطَّلعاًrising معَwith النَّجْمِthe star
فرآكَ مُطَّلعاً معَ النَّجْمِ
The envious man raised his gaze toward you,
The envious raised their sights to you
and saw you rising alongside the star.
And saw you rising with the star
