بادِرْ إِلى التَّوبَةِ الخَلصاءِ مُجْتَهِداً

بادِرْ إِلى التَّوبَةِ الخَلصاءِ مُجْتَهِداً

وَالمَوْتُ وَيْحَكَ لم يَمْدُدْ إِليكَ يَدا

وَالمَوْتُ وَيْحَكَ لم يَمْدُدْ إِليكَ يَدا

Hasten earnestly to sincere repentance,

Strive for sincere repentance with effort

while death—alas for you!—has not yet stretched a hand toward you.

And beware, for death, alas, will not extend its hand to you

وَارْقُبْ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَعْداً لَيْسَ يُخْلِفُهُ

وَارْقُبْ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَعْداً لَيْسَ يُخْلِفُهُ

لا بُدَّ ِللَّهِ مِنْ إِنْجازِ ما وَعَدا

لا بُدَّ ِللَّهِ مِنْ إِنْجازِ ما وَعَدا

And await a promise from God that He will not break;

And await God's promise which He does not break

God will surely fulfill what He has promised.
