مَنْ يُرْتَجى غَيرُكَ أَوْ يُتَّقَى

مَنْ يُرْتَجى غَيرُكَ أَوْ يُتَّقَى

وفي يَدَيكَ الجودُ والباسُ

وفي يَدَيكَ الجودُ والباسُ

Who but you is looked to with hope or feared?

And in your hands lie generosity and might.

ما عِشْتَ عاشَ النَّاسُ في نِعْمَةٍ

ما عِشْتَ عاشَ النَّاسُ في نِعْمَةٍ

وإِنْ تَمُتْ ماتَ بِكَ النَّاسُ

وإِنْ تَمُتْ ماتَ بِكَ النَّاسُ

As long as you live, the people live in prosperity.

And if you die, the people die with you.
