بِالمُنْذِرِ بْنِ مُحمَّدٍ

بِالمُنْذِرِ بْنِ مُحمَّدٍ

شَرُفتْ بِلاد الأندَلُسْ

Through al-Mundhir, son of Muhammad,

Through al-Mundhir, son of Muhammad,

The lands of al-Andalus were ennobled;

the lands of al-Andalus have gained honor.

فالطيرُ فِيها ساكِنٌ

فالطيرُ فِيها ساكِنٌ

والوحْشُ فِيها قد أنسْ

والوحْشُ فِيها قد أنسْ

So there the birds dwell at ease,

So the birds there are at rest,

And there the wild beasts have grown tame.
