Fragrant blooms I offer to the fragrant bloom of glory,

Plucked by the hand of blushing from the redness of the cheek.

And roses with which I greeted a nobleman's radiant brow,

Whose virtues waft a sweeter fragrance than roses.

And spring's brocade, radiant in hue and fresh,

Upon which gleams a brocaded robe of praise.

I sent them, radiant, atop a blossom,

Like two lovers laying cheek upon cheek.
