Behold, Ibrahim is a deep sea beside a shore—

A sea of generosity, anchored above a deep sea beside a shore.

So radiant Seville glories in his glory,

And splendid Carmona, endowed with virtues.

Whenever that one adorns herself with light from his face,

This one appears to people in the garb of one unadorned.

And if he dwells in this one, the other grows lonely,

So she sends messengers and letters toward him.
