the East envies the West for him.

its boughs nearly burst into leaf for him.

If the piebald knew who was upon it,

the piebald would prance, proud of him.

O you who have seen a surging sea of bounty,

borne by a noble steed that does not drown!

A just imam, his hand outstretched,

from it God provides whatever He provides.

Through him, the age that had passed returned,

and through him the worn-out kingdom was renewed.
