Do you claim, O my neighbor, my hope and my wish

That I am an enemy? No, but my friendship

I came with gentleness like a soft breeze
laden with the fragrance of powdered musk.
Laden with wafting sweet musk

and there I prostrate myself, prostration after prostration.
And I bow down in it, bow after bow

Calling you sometimes and shortening my steps
