صدتshe turned away يواريهاconceals her دجىًdarkness
صدت يواريها دجىً
لمحاتُهاher glances تنفيbanish الكرىsleep
لمحاتُها تنفي الكرى
She turned away; darkness conceals her.
Her glances banish sleep.
صَمَدَتْshe stood firm يوافيهاcomes to meet her مَهاoryxes
صَمَدَتْ يوافيها مَها

my clotted blood, which became for her the soil
