The birds of congratulation warbled with serene joy,

The birds of congratulations sang melodiously

and the suns of hope’s horizon shone.

And the suns of wishes illuminated the horizons

وصبا الأنسِ في ربا العزّ رقّت

وأمالت للرقص عِطف الزمانِ

وأمالت للرقص عِطف الزمانِ

And the east breeze of fellowship grew gentle in the hills of glory,

The gentleness of company flowed in the bosom of dignity

and set Time’s flank swaying in dance.

And time inclined towards dancing

ووفاء الدهر بالذي أرتجيه

وبأفراحهِ الحسان حباني

And joy will be complete if you gladden me

The utmost joy is that you bring me happiness
