Longing, by God, is hidden from no one.

إن كان عندك ما عندي فوا لهفي

عليك مما تقاسيه وتحمله

If you feel what I feel, then oh, my anguish

If you have what I have, woe to my heart,

For you, for what you suffer and bear!

For what you're going through and enduring.

إن كانت العين من هذا النوى هملت

لبعد شخصك قلبي ليس يهمله

لبعد شخصك قلبي ليس يهمله

If the eye has streamed with tears from this separation,

If the eye has neglected this purpose,

Because you are far away, my heart does not neglect you.

My heart does not neglect it, for your absence.
